June 24, 2020 – After a few days of working out some bugs, our public hunting permit application system is now available for deer and elk hunting access on our Conservation Areas, including Pine Creek, Forrest, Oxbow, and Dunstan. Our permit application process is free, and these properties offer unique hunting opportunities because of the low number of permits issued for each hunt. This new page is for members of the general public. Warm Springs Tribal Members please use the Tribal Hunting Permits site.
PLEASE NOTE: Our conservation areas remain CLOSED due to SARS2 novel coronavirus concerns. Please remember that these properties are PRIVATE LANDS and public access is a privilege we regulate through our access permit system. The Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon has closed these properties to the public until further notice due to safety concerns.
We are preparing to perform the draws for issuing access permits for the various deer and elk hunting seasons, but your application is not a guarantee that these properties will be open for ANY of these hunts.
Applications are due by July 30, 2020. Successful hunters will be notified by email by August 3, 2020. Unfilled hunts will be filled by request thereafter. Updates will be posted to the website about available hunts on August 3rd.
Also, be aware that the Pine Creek/Spring Basin land exchange between the Tribes and Bureau of Land Management is expected to be completed around Mid-September. This may affect the archery season. See our updated map.
We are not taking reservations at Pine Creek Robinson Campground at this time. When the property reopens, those hunters that received hunting access permits will be contacted first about camping reservations.

There is no hunting access for Red Hills, Little Sweden, or Austin Hot Springs in 2020. These Conservation Areas are also closed to all public access at this time.
